30A - Final Reflection

There isn’t a specific event that I’m proud of accomplishing, but accomplishing the class in general makes me very proud. Not just that but ending this class with a good grade makes me extremely happy. At first I didn’t understand why I needed to take this class, but after going through it, I have to say that I’m happy that I decide to stay. I think my joyous moment was watching my own growth, I would like to believe that I was always an outside thinker. But, I was extremely wrong, now everything I do, I wonder how can I make this better? This isn’t something I did before this class. Making the business that I came up in this class will forever stick with me, even if it doesn’t go anywhere. I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and here I am taking the first step. I do see myself as entrepreneur, mainly because an entrepreneur is more than someone owning a business. It’s someone who can identify a problem, and decide to be the change they want to see. It does include a lot of work, and brains, but you don’t necessarily have to be the smartest in the market. You have to be the person in your market with the most heart, and that’ll help you be the best entrepreneur possible. Based on that, I do think I have moved closer to having an entrepreneurial mindset, but as an entrepreneur I do understand that you never stop developing and learning. I think that’s what helps build you up as an entrepreneur. Never be comfortable. I think my first recommendation to future students would be: take this class! There’s a lot of work and small parts, but they all come together, I promise. Each step is vital in making you better in every way possible. After taking this class, I am able to see that the things that make you a great entrepreneur, can also make you an even better person. I think I would recommend discipline, this course is provided both online and in person. As a person who wasn’t able to make it to the lectures, discipline was a very necessary tool. Additionally, being organized, look at your coursework for the beginning of the week and plan. Finally, I think you just have to take yourself seriously to foster the mindset that you want. If you’re looking for an average grade, then your work will be average, and so on.
